my prison is far behind now
my incarceration a distant memory
and all the insanity simply faded
away from me
left me alone finally
and I can breathe again

and I know how much you really love me
I know you could never live without me now
no nothing would be real
in sight
in the sunlight
in the moonlight
everything stained gray shadows

I sit near the window to your soul
I look in shaded in your sexy
and I live for every tomorrow
that I know you’ll spend with me

that you keep giving
