Friday, February 26th, 2010

Just a quick update on my precious little men – they are now a little over 3 months old and are already showing signs of cutting teeth! This was taken last night during their 2AM feeding.

miracles come around

miracles come around
and good things just form somehow
in me now
because of the both of you

and I sit here thinking all alone
of the wonders you’ll know one day
of this world with you both so new inside
am I’m surviving once again you know

both of you bring me alive

bring me strength unknown before

with your little lives in my hands now.

I’m going to show you both how to
choose the roads less travelled
the ones that always lead to better beginnings
and you’ll both find

there wont be as many bitter endings

in the things you’ll both do

in the adventures you’ll both know.

and I will give you what it takes to make your way around
the crazy world outside
with a little poetry
and maybe

there just might be

little poets alive inside of both of you

an artist’s little artists you both are.

yes you’re my boys
you’re my simple everything
you’re healthy full of my first life
and it’s shining through in your open eyes now

miracles come around and good things

just form somehow

in me now.

you’re my boys
you’re my simple everything
you’re healthy full of my first life
and it’s shining through in your open eyes

now

an artist’s little artists have come to life

inside.
